Echoes of history 2019 at Barons Lane, Purleigh was a great success, with thousands of visitors braving the high winds to see over 70 living history exhibitors and 150+ military vehicles at the event. Although Saturday saw some of the highest winds ever seen at an Essex HMVA event, all our re-enactors, exhibitors and entertainers stayed with us and put on a fantastic show which the public really seemed to enjoy and engage with.
